CISSC is pleased to announce that its current Director, Stefano Galatolo, Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Pisa, has been awarded the 2025 Qin-Jiu-Shao Lecture, a distinction conferred within the framework of the International Conference on Mathematical Analysis, Applications and Computational Simulation (ICMAACS 2025).
The award is bestowed upon scholars who have made outstanding contributions in the field of mathematical analysis and its applications. The Committee recognized Stefano Galatolo for his “seminal contributions to computational methods for statistical properties and applications,” which have had a significant impact on the study of dynamical systems and complex phenomena.
The Qin-Jiu-Shao Lecture was awarded during ICMAACS 2025, held from 5 to 7 December in Xuzhou, China; the photographs show some moments of the award ceremony.
